A small booklet containing a vocabulary of words used by the Australian Aboriginal people of the Allyn River district in the Hunter Valley, NSW. This volume also contains: Two sketch maps of the Allyn River district; an anonymous account of a cattle drive by stockmen from Camyr Allyn; a poem which begins "Tis the last rose of summer"; a number of pencil sketches of stockmen etc.
One page is watermarked 1851. Copied onto preservation microfilm (CY 2355), Oct. 1991. A typed transcript of the cattle drive account and poem has been placed with the original booklet. Awabakal language (S66) (NSW SI56-05) (accesed Feburary 2014)
